Custom Filter Control Valve Injection Molding Service / Control Valve Housings Molding
The control valve is in direct contact with water; it needs an IP65 or even an IP68 grade. Here's a breakdown of the sealing structure and protection design:
1. Interface Sealing Structure (Your First Line of Defense)
-
Welding Structure: The electronics are assembled in the top cover and bottom housing. We weld them to avoid the leak.
-
Silicone Seal Ring Design: Cut a dedicated sealing groove at the joint between the upper and lower housings. We design a sealing groove at the joint. And we use liquid silicone rubber with a Shore hardness of 50–60A and a compression ratio around 20–30%.
-
Button Sealing: Operation buttons on the panel are a common leak point. We use a one-piece silicone keypad – the silicone's natural elasticity covers the housing openings.
-
Display Sealing: Design a stepped groove with an O-ring; this completely blocks moisture from seeping in through the screen edges and causing condensation.
2. Cable and Connector Protection
-
Waterproof Cable & Rubber Seals: We've got cables coming out on the left side of the image, and that's your weakest link: we use waterproof cable and use rubber seals inside the box.
