Steel Kiosk Stand Welding & Assembly
Metal kiosk stands are manufactured by a rigorous sheet metal fabrication process. Here is the process how we ensure precision, durability, and decorative finish:
1 Precision Metal Fabrication
We manufacture the kiosk stand using precision sheet metal fabrication. We start from cold-rolled steel. The main column, base plate, and internal brackets are laser-cut based on the drawings, A tight tolerance of ±0.1mm we made minimize assembly gaps. Finally, we use a CNC bending machine form the column and brackets shape with high accuracy.
2 Component Kitting
All components—including fabricated metal parts, fasteners, and mounting hardware—are sourced and kitting according to the Bill of Materials (BOM). Each item is individually labeled to prevent mismatching.
3 Incoming Quality Control (IQC)
Before assembly, every part need to be inspected based on ISO 9001 standards. The items include:
- Dimension check for laser-cut and bent parts
- Surface finish inspection for scratches or burrs
- Material certificates and grade check
- Quality and quantity check of screws, rivets, and fasteners
4 Welding & Assembly
Once approved, assembly begins. We make a welding tool to ensure all the part locations and to reduce shape deformation. After bending, we weld the front display housing. Then, we weld it to the main column, followed by the base plate. All welds are polished to a smooth, seamless finish. We also need to check solid before moving to the next step.
5 Powder Coating & Finishing
After check the dimension and solid, we do sandblasting and matte powder coating. This can get a nice surface and protects against fingerprints, UV damage, and corrosion.
6Quality Control
Strict QC are enforced throughout production: Incoming Inspections, First-Article Verification, In-Process Audits, and Random Sampling Tests. This guarantees that dimensions, finish quality, and function with high standards.
7Packaging & Shipping
Each metal kiosk stand is put in protective PE film to prevent scratches, then placed in a reinforced 5-layer corrugated carton. Cartons are stacked on pallets and loaded into full containers. All these provide maximum protection during shipping.
