Handheld Pool Vacuum Cleaner Assembly

Here is how we ensure top-grade quality from mold design to final products:

1 Mold Design & Engineering

Tight Tolerances: To ensure a perfect fit between the main housing and extension pole, we make a strict tolerances at ±0.1mm. The pole's locking mechanism aslo use high precision to prevent sliding during use.
Material Selection: We use food-grade, UV-resistant ABS/PC plastic to prevent color fading and high strength.
Mold Flow Analysis: To ensure all sectors are concerned, including decorative appearance, We make Mold Flow Analysis to check if the mold Design have the problem.

2 Parts Kitting

All components are sourced and collected according to the Bill of Materials (BOM)

3 Incoming Quality Control (IQC)

Before assembly, all incoming components are inspected based on ISO 9001 standards. Key items include:

  • Dimension check & decorative appearance check
  • Food-grade safety material certifications
  • UL compliance

4Assembly

Motor & Battery Assembly: We carefully assemble the motor with the battery compartment. Sealed the main housing by Ultrasonic welding to ensure water resistance for both the motor and battery.
Pole Assembly: We use a "click-lock" mechanism at each joint when assemble the stainless steel extension poles, this can prevent slipping. We also need to check the elasticity and holding strength.
Filter Housing: To ensure a consistently tight fit.when installed the transparent filter cartridge with intake nozzle, we use a torque-controlled screws, this can ensure it tight fit.

5 Quality Control & Testing

We enforce strict quality control at every step:

  • First Article Inspection (FAI): Make dimension and function checks on the first production batch.
  • IPX7 Waterproof Test: 100% of pool cleaner do IPX7 submersion testing to guarantee water resistance.
  • Drop Test: A 1-meter drop test is performed to check structural integrity.
  • Life Cycle Test: Telescopic pole locks and trigger switches are tested for over 5,000 cycles.
  • AQL Level II Inspection: Check function ,cosmetic defects (scratches, color mismatch) and packaging integrity every batch.

6Packaging

The product is placed in a custom-molded foam part, then a 5-layer corrugated cardboard carton is used to protect it being destroyed during shipping.
