This injection mold is designed for producing plastic pipe elbows, commonly used as water pipe connectors in plumbing, irrigation, and industrial piping systems. The mold is typically made from high-quality mold steel 718H. For high-volume production, hardened steel such as H13 with nitriding treatment is often used to extend mold life.
The mold is a horizontal, two-plate injection mold with a lifter mechanism to form the elbow's curved inner channel.
Typical equipment parameters include a clamping force of 80 tons, injection pressure of 80–150 MPa, and mold temperature control between 40–60°C, as we use PP. The mold produces a 50 mm elbow.
Application scenarios include residential water supply systems, drainage networks, agricultural irrigation, and industrial fluid transportation, where reliable, leak-free plastic elbow connections are essential.
