The ABS injection molding process requires careful control of key parameters to ensure part quality. Melt temperature is typically set between 200–260°C, while mold temperature is maintained at 40–80°C to achieve good surface finish and dimensional stability. Injection pressure should be adjusted according to part structure and wall thickness to ensure proper filling without overpacking. Holding pressure must be optimized to reduce shrinkage and sink marks, especially in thick-wall sections. Cooling time is determined by wall thickness and mold structure, typically ranging from 15–30 seconds. Material drying is recommended before injection molding—usually at 80°C for 2–4 hours—to minimize moisture-related defects such as silver streaks, bubbles, and poor surface appearance.
A transparent, step-by-step process from design to delivery.
Stage 1: R&D SupportWe support customer R&D. Create the files or improve the design if needed (UG, SolidWorks, ProE, Auto CAD etc.)
Stage 2: Mold ProcessMold design (DFM report) → check/approve → approved → make mold → produce sample → sample confirmed → check final mold quality ready to export.
Stage 3: Sample ModificationIf the first sample does not satisfy the customer, we can modify the mold to meet customers' requirements.
Stage 4: Sample DeliveryProduce the customer's requested quantity, free shipping.
Stage 5: Final DeliveryDeliver goods by sea or by air; special requirements can be accommodated based on customer demands.
